The Rows
I visited The Rows in Chester and these are some different ideas for backgrounds. These express the idea of exposure as they have connotations of prison.
As well as these settings, I looked at several places where bricks can be used and different window structures. These would compliment the leopard shoe and the subtle pattern of the cape.
Style
Here I have tested different ways for the cape to be worn to create the best shape and the best patterns. I chose for it to be buttoned up as this is more subtle and it keeps the colour clean allowing for attention to be drawn to the shoes.
These are the leopard print shoes I will be using in my shoot.
Test
I have tested how best to photograph the shoes.
This will be the first stage of the shoot as it will set scene of the secret obsession.
I prefer the picture above as it is natural, as this is the view that you get when you try shoes on and you can also see detailing on the shoe quite clear. I also like the effect of the dark blue jean to the light blue cuff.
In the pictures below I have used a chair.
I didn't like the chair being in the shot and those where it is not, I do not feel it works well.
These are a few close ups of the shoes.
In the picture below I tried to blur it hoping to keep certain factors of the shoe hidden, helping to keep them a secret. However It didn't work well and it just looks like a dodgy picture.
I prefer this picture above as it is natural. It is as though you have looked down and shown; this is the culprit of the secret obsession.
Below I have photographed detailing to be used if i decide to get a close up to keep a secret factor.
Prints
After my research has mainly contained the idea of using prints, I have looked into different styles and different ways to portray the look. I particularly like the leopard print as the colours are warm and signify wildness like an obsession. I also like the cape as it creates a subtle pattern from the way it hangs. If used together the gentleness of the cape will help the leopard print stand out.

The Idea
Expose a Secret Obsession. As I often go shopping with money I shouldn't be spending, I have chosen this as inspiration for my photo shoot. In my research there are several photos that have mystery and secrets giving me ideas of how to carry this idea out. I will be taking photos of sections of the body, for example; hands possibly hiding a receipt, I could photograph the face showing emotion or held down to avoid anyone recognising her or i could photograph a specific item that is the secret obsession. A full shot will finish the photo shoot, showing setting and style, putting the story into perspective.

Storytelling
This picture looks at the stages of human development, from the era of Adam
and Eve to the present day. It is interesting how changing props can create a
different image and look. Different camera angles and lighting could also create
this effect.

Democratic Jungle: how do i use groups of pictures to tell a story?
Empax: Identify the core of the story
These photographs have a sense of secrecy as snapshots are taken of a small section of the story. It highlights and important aspect although I am unsure what is going on, I get a sense of importance.
